Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Nexus Inc. ("we" or "us") handles information in our wallpaper editing app (the "App").
1. Information We Collect and How We Use It
The App does not require you to create an account. Photos you use for wallpapers are read only when you choose them with the photo picker or send them to the App from another app's share menu. Your selected photos, edits, background colors and device settings are processed on your device and saved to your photo library as wallpapers. Photos selected for wallpaper editing are not sent to our servers (images you choose to attach to an inquiry are described in section 4). Photo access is used only so that you can select and save images. A photo sent from the share menu is stored temporarily in an area on your device shared by the App and its share extension, and is deleted when the App opens it, or after 24 hours if it is not opened. Settings (selected device model, background style, color and blur strength, number of saves and a cached ad-removal status) are stored on your device to keep the App working and to remember your preferences.
2. Advertising
The App uses Google Mobile Ads (Google AdMob) to show banner ads and rewarded ads. For ad delivery, measurement and fraud prevention, Google may process your device's advertising identifier, IP address, information about your device and the App, and information about your interactions with ads. How this information is processed depends on your device settings, your consent choices, your region and Google's settings. The advertising identifier is used only if you allow tracking when the App asks, and you can change this at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. If you purchase ad removal, no ads are shown. Please see Google's privacy policy for details.
3. In-App Purchases
We use RevenueCat to process in-app purchases (the one-time ad removal and the optional "Buy me a coffee" support purchase) and to check and restore your ad-removal purchase. When the App starts, it initializes the RevenueCat SDK and checks your ad-removal purchase status. At that time, an anonymous App user identifier issued by RevenueCat, information about your device and the App (such as the App version, OS version and App Store country or region) and product and entitlement status are sent to RevenueCat. When you make or restore a purchase, purchase information is sent to RevenueCat and Apple (App Store). Payments are processed by Apple, and we never receive your credit card number or other payment details. Please see each provider's privacy policy for how they handle your information.
4. Contact Form
If you send us an inquiry, the message you enter, your email address (if you would like a reply), any images you attach, the App version, OS version, device model, language and region, time zone, screen information, selected device model and ad-removal status are sent through Firebase Cloud Functions so that we can review and answer your inquiry. Attaching images is optional. This information is sent as part of your inquiry only when you submit the contact form.
5. Third-Party Services
The App uses Google Mobile Ads for advertising, RevenueCat and Apple's App Store for purchases, and Firebase Cloud Functions for inquiries. These providers may process information to provide, maintain and secure their services. Their handling of information is governed by their own privacy policies and terms.
6. International Transfers
We are based in Japan, and the service providers listed above may process information in the United States and other countries. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those of your country. We rely on these providers' safeguards to protect your information.
7. Retention and Security
Settings on your device are kept until you delete the App or clear its data. Inquiry information is stored in Firebase (Cloud Firestore) and deleted 3 years after the date we finish answering the inquiry. We check at least once a year whether the retention period has passed. We handle information only as needed for the purposes above and take reasonable measures to keep it secure.
8. Your Choices and Rights
You can use the App's wallpaper editing features without creating an account or entering your name or email address. Advertising and purchases are handled as described above. You can turn off tracking in iOS settings, and purchasing ad removal stops ads from being shown. To request access to, correction of or deletion of information we hold about you, contact us at the address below. We will verify your request and respond as required by applicable law. For information held by third-party services, please contact those providers directly.
9. Children
The App is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Additional Information for U.S. Residents
Some U.S. state privacy laws (such as California's) give residents additional rights. In the past 12 months, the categories of information processed through the App are: identifiers (such as device and advertising identifiers processed by Google and RevenueCat), internet or other electronic activity (App usage and ad interactions), approximate location (region), commercial information (purchase status), and the contents of inquiries you send us. We do not sell personal information for money. If you allow tracking, Google may use your advertising identifier to show personalized ads, which some state laws may treat as "sharing" or "targeted advertising." You can opt out at any time by turning off tracking for the App in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. You may request to know, access, correct or delete your personal information by contacting us. You may use an authorized agent. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Additional Information for Users in India
We handle personal data in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. In India, the App does not ask for permission to track you and requests only non-personalized ads from Google, so ads are not targeted based on your past activity. Google may still use device information, identifiers and your IP address for limited purposes such as frequency capping, aggregated ad reporting and fraud prevention. The App is not directed at children (persons under 18), and we do not use personal data for targeted advertising to, or behavioural monitoring of, children. Additional Information for Residents of Switzerland
We handle personal data in accordance with the Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). Where required, the App asks for your consent to the use of your data for advertising through Google's consent form, and you can change your choice at any time in Settings > Privacy Options. Personal data is disclosed to the following recipients outside Switzerland: ・Google LLC (Google AdMob for advertising; Firebase Cloud Functions and Cloud Firestore for inquiries), in the United States and other countries where Google operates: based on Google's certification under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the standard contractual clauses in Google's data protection terms. ・RevenueCat, Inc. (purchase status), in the United States: based on RevenueCat's data processing agreement, which includes the EU standard contractual clauses as adapted for Switzerland. ・Nexus Inc., in Japan, where we read and answer inquiries: Japan is not on the Federal Council's list of countries with adequate data protection, so this disclosure is based on it being directly connected with answering your inquiry at your request. App Store purchases are processed by Apple under its own privacy policy. Your choices in Google's consent form apply to advertising only. You may request information about, correction of or erasure of your personal data by contacting us. You may also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when laws change or when we change the App. We will let you know about updates in the App or by other appropriate means.
